The trip to Boston is less than two weeks away, and we are so excited about the range of content and diversity of attendees who will be joining us! We’ll be one of more than 200 exhibitors you’ll be visiting on the exhibit floor. Like many of you, we spent a little time doing some research on our future neighbors, and we must admit – we’re in great company! Here are five of the companies we are the most excited about checking out, and why we think they’re pretty dang cool:

We know what you are thinking, “Innovative companies? They’ve been around since the 50s!” You are right, but there’s a reason these guys know their stuff. ACT is constantly conducting their own research to make sure they are delivering the best, most insightful resources to students and educators. Their organization spans far beyond the standardized test that’s helped to benchmark our nation’s students. I highly recommend you spend some time checking out what they’re all about.

Echovate –

Alright, we admit this one’s a little self-serving, but we truly think we are onto something unique here. That’s the whole reason why we broke into the higher education game! Echovate helps colleges and universities achieve their enrollment goals by measuring key behavioral attributes – like perseverance, self-discipline, and empathy – on their students and applicants. This data provides schools with a unique view on each applicant that expands beyond academic performance. Not to mention, we’re powered by some pretty awesome research and data science, but we’ll let you check that out for yourself.

RaiseMe –

Where was this when I was in high school? RaiseMe enables students to earn scholarships as early as 9th grade through a network of micro-scholarships, reshaping the way students finance their academic careers. With over 750,000 students and 250 colleges already using the platform, they are expanding access to higher education to students across the country.

Salesforce –

Everyone is familiar with the powerhouse that is Salesforce, but not everyone knows about their higher educations solutions. Built for the social and mobile era, Salesforce for Higher Ed enables you to become a Connected Campus, place students at the center of everything you do, and achieve breakthrough performance across the student lifecycle. Leverage Salesforce for recruiting, student success, advancement, marketing, and community engagement.

ZeeMee –

College-bound students can set up a free profile and tell their story through SnapChat-like videos. Colleges that partner with ZeeMee provide a place to include your profile link on their applications. ZeeMee is designed for this generation of tech-savvy, mobile-first college applicants.

Of course, there are many, many other awesome organizations beyond this post, but you can view the complete list on NACAC’s site. What vendors or sessions are you most excited about checking out at conference? Leave your suggestions in the comments below!
